The construction of the Wilopark, the global headquarters of the Wilo Group and the headquarters of the Europe region, was a major site development program in Wilo’s corporate history. The Dortmund site was completely redesigned and significantly expanded. The aim was to bring together the production and administrative functions previously spread across Dortmund at a single location in order to make better use of synergies. With the inauguration of the Wilopark in 2021, the new corporate campus commenced operations.
A special site development project
The Wilopark has created an industrial complex in the south of Dortmund designed for efficient use of space, with flexible areas and bundled site processes. Examples include its own H2POWERPLANT, photovoltaic systems, and an in-house energy management system. Covering an area roughly equivalent to 27 football pitches, the site is divided by the company’s own boulevard, “Wilopark”. The central square, “Focus”, connects the northern and southern parts of the site.
The facade design and choice of materials, particularly the extensive use of glass, are intended to create transparency. Views to the outside and natural daylight shape the production halls for our employees. This creates visual links both to the outdoors and to the office areas. The openness of the buildings also makes material and production flows visible. Production planners and managers working in offices close to production on the first floor have a direct view into the production areas; conversely, production employees also have direct contact with control and scheduling functions. The aim is to reduce separation between different working environments and create space for a more open working culture.
This is also reflected in the other administrative buildings. A future office concept is intended to encourage collaboration and support an open working environment.
The energy concept includes both the generation and storage of energy. For this purpose, the Wilopark uses a specially developed H2POWERPLANT. This makes it possible to store surplus energy and retrieve it again during peak demand periods. The site also uses self-generated electricity from several thousand photovoltaic modules.

Please ensure before visiting the Wilopark that your visit has been registered and your license plate number has been entered into the system. Unregistered or public visits are not possible. Thank you for your understanding.
Arrival by car:
Geben Sie „Wilopark 1“ in Ihr Navigationsgerät ein. In älteren Navigationssystemen bitte „Nortkirchenstraße 100“ als Ziel eingeben. Der Wilopark liegt direkt an der B54. Über die Autobahnen A1, A2, A40, A45 sowie die Bundesstraßen B1, B54 und B236 ist der Dortmunder Stadtteil Hörde mit dem Auto leicht zu erreichen.
Parken ist auf den kostenlosen Besucherparkplätzen des Wilopark möglich. Sollten Sie mit einem Bus oder größeren Fahrzeugen anreisen, wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren Wilo-Ansprechpartner für gesonderte Parkplätze. Für mitgeführte Fahrräder stehen unseren Besucherinnen und Besuchern an den Ausgängen Nord und Süd der Produktion geschützte Fahrradstellplätze zur Verfügung sowie eine Metropolrad-Station.
Anreise mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln:
Enter “Wilopark 1” into your navigation system. In older navigation systems, please use “Nortkirchenstraße 100” as your destination. The Wilopark is located directly on the B54. The Dortmund district of Hörde can easily be reached by car via the A1, A2, A40, and A45 motorways, as well as the B1, B54, and B236 federal roads.
Parking is available free of charge in the visitor parking areas at the Wilopark. If you are arriving by bus or larger vehicles, please contact your Wilo contact person regarding separate parking options. For visitors bringing bicycles, protected bicycle parking spaces are available at the north and south exits of the production area, as well as a Metropolrad station.
Arrival by public transport
The Wilopark can be reached by public transport via the subway stop “Rombergpark” or by bus 440 via the “Wilopark” stop, which is located directly at the northern part of the site.
Important: Pedestrian access is only possible via the West Gate and East Gate.
