As a global water technology group, Wilo has a regionally diversified organisational and production structure. Accordingly, Wilo offers an extensive and customer-focused network of around 90 production and sales companies in over 50 countries.
The ‘region-for-region’ strategy is intended to support a market-oriented response to regional requirement. It aims to meet regional or even local customer needs with products, systems and solutions manufactured regionally or locally.
This strategy is also consistently reflected in the Wilo Group’s organisational structure. Wilo is managed from three regional headquarters. The global headquarters of the multinational Wilo Group is the Wilopark in Dortmund.
Wilo Group / Wilo Europe

Since 2021, Wilopark in Dortmund has brought together local and global administrative and production departments. Spanning an area equivalent to 26 to 27 football pitches, the group’s headquarters offers a digitally connected infrastructure with short distances and excellent transport links. The site concept includes measures for energy and water management via photovoltaic systems and resource-efficient facilities, including the use of hydrogen we produce ourselves through the H2POWERPLANT. The Smart Factory – Wilopark’s centrepiece – is our Dortmund production site, which runs in accordance with Industry 4.0 standards.
The regional headquarters is located at Wilopark in Dortmund, Germany, alongside the group headquarters. We manage our European network and coordinate the activities of our subsidiaries and branches in the region from this vantage point. Our state-of-the-art production sites, innovation centres and sales offices are strategically distributed to support regionally organised supply chains and locally available service.
Wilo Americas

Local cohesion – global connection: The Americas region encompasses not only the United States, but also Canada and Latin America. With a customer-focused network and two of the Wilo Group’s main production sites, Wilo Americas has a regional network in place to further grow its business in the region.
Among its partners in the region are two high-profile sports clubs: Wilo is a ‘global sustainability partner’ of the Milwaukee Bucks NBA basketball team and also partners with the Memphis Grizzlies.

The AMEA region, comprising Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, brings together key growth markets for the Wilo Group. Countries such as India and the Middle East as a whole show strong demand for high-quality Wilo water technologies, such as pumps and pump systems. With around 30 subsidiaries in the region, we support close collaboration and regional proximity to our partners and customers.
Projects such as Toshka in Egypt and the Alibaba Cloud Center in China are international reference projects in the region and underline the importance of AMEA for the future.

The Water Treatment Strategic Business Unit (SBU) brings together the expertise of Wilo FSM, Wilo Likusta, Wilo Martin and Wilo Steinhardt under one roof. As part of the Wilo Group, the business unit supplies solutions for water, sewage and exhaust air treatment and combines mechanical, biological, membrane-based, hydraulic and air technology processes to create an integrated portfolio of services for local authorities, industry and maritime applications worldwide.
