As a globally active water technology group, Wilo relies on a regionally diversified organizational and production structure. Wilo therefore offers an extensive customer-focused network of around 90 production and sales companies in more than 50 countries.
The region-for-region strategy is designed to support a market-oriented response to regional requirements. It aims to serve regional or even local customer needs with products, systems, and solutions that are manufactured regionally or locally.
This strategy is also consistently reflected in the organizational structure of the Wilo Group. Wilo is managed from three regional headquarters. The global headquarters of the multinational Wilo Group is the Wilopark in Dortmund.
Wilo Group / Wilo Europe

Since 2021, the Wilopark in Dortmund has brought together local and global administrative and production functions. Covering an area equivalent to approximately 26 to 27 football pitches, the Group headquarters offers digitally connected infrastructure, short distances, and good transport links. The site concept includes measures for energy and water management through photovoltaic systems and resource-efficient installations, including the use of hydrogen from our own production via the H2POWERPLANT. The Smart Factory – the heart of the Wilopark – is the production site in Dortmund operated in line with Industry 4.0 standards.
Wilo Europe is an important region within the Wilo Group and plays a central role in implementing our global strategy. With our sales and production sites across Europe, we ensure regional support for our customers.
The regional headquarters is located together with the Group headquarters at the Wilopark in Dortmund, Germany. From here, we manage our European network and coordinate the activities of our subsidiaries and branches in the region. Our modern production sites, innovation centers, and sales offices are strategically located to support regionally organized supply chains and regionally available service.

Locally connected – globally networked: the Americas region includes not only the United States of America, but also Canada and Latin America. With a customer-focused network and two main production sites of the Wilo Group, Wilo Americas has a regional network to further develop business in the region.
Among its various partnerships in the region, Wilo works with two sports organizations in particular: Wilo is a “global sustainability partner” of the NBA basketball team Milwaukee Bucks. In addition, Wilo is a partner of the Memphis Grizzlies.

The AMEA region, comprising Asia, the Middle East, and Africa, brings together key growth markets for the Wilo Group. Countries such as India and the Middle East as a whole show strong demand for high-quality Wilo water technologies, such as pumps and pump systems. With around 30 subsidiaries in the region, we support close collaboration and regional proximity to our partners and customers.
Projects such as Toshka in Egypt and the Alibaba Cloud Center in China are international reference projects in the region and underline the importance of AMEA for the future.

The Strategic Business Unit (SBU) Water Treatment brings together the expertise of Wilo FSM, Wilo Likusta, Wilo Martin, and Wilo Steinhardt under one roof. As part of the Wilo Group, this business unit offers solutions for water, wastewater, and exhaust air treatment, combining mechanical, biological, membrane-based, hydraulic, and air-handling processes into an integrated portfolio for municipalities, industry, and maritime applications worldwide.
