WATER AI describes the systematic connection between water technology and artificial intelligence. We combine our entrepreneurial commitment with the possibilities of artificial intelligence to systematically advance processes, systems and decision-making. In this context, AI can play a key role in supporting specific sustainability targets – for example, through the data-driven optimisation of processes and use of resources.
An integrated Group Strategy
With ‘Pioneering WATER AI for You’, we are combining two key strategic approaches into a single Group Strategy: Wilo’s sustainability and AI strategy.
The structure remains based on the established impact areas – Creating, Caring and Connecting – enhanced by the WATER AI perspective. Our functional and regional strategies are derived from Wilo’s Group Strategy.

Wilo develops smart water technology for the AI value chain: from raw material extraction through high-tech fabs to hyperscale data centres. With selected solutions, Wilo supports the development and operation of high-performance water and cooling infrastructure for data centres.
