We see our success in aspects such as our partnerships, the feedback we receive from customers, the commitment of our employees and our continuous development. We are especially proud that our efforts and values have been recognised beyond our industry.

In recent years, we have received multiple awards for our achievements in brand excellence, sustainability, employer culture and social responsibility. Among other honours, we received the German Brand Award from 2016 to 2025 and were presented with the German Sustainability Award in 2021 in the transformation field ‘Climate’ and 2026 for the ‘Hydraulics, Pumps and Compressors’ category.

We are delighted to have already received the German Sustainability Award twice – in 2021 for the ‘Climate’ transformation field and in 2026 as the industry winner for ‘Hydraulics, Pumps, Compressors’. These honours encourage us to continue to incorporate and develop aspects of sustainability in selected areas of our business processes.

As a provider of water technology, we are working on projects that support the transformation of our products and processes towards more efficient energy use and resource conservation – including through digital and AI-integrated applications. Receiving the German Sustainability Award once again confirms that we are on the right path. It motivates us to continue to develop measures in the areas of environment, social responsibility and corporate governance.

In 2026, we were awarded the platinum rating by EcoVadis once again for another year. This saw Wilo receive the highest ranking assessment from the rating agency for the fourth time in a row. Wilo achieved the ‘Outstanding’ rating according to EcoVadis. After being awarded Silver (2019 and 2020) and Gold (2021), our rating continued to improve in the years that followed. Topics the EcoVadis assessment takes into account include issues relating to the environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.

The EcoVadis platinum rating assesses our performance based on sustainability criteria set out by EcoVadis. We view the rating as recognition of the results achieved within this assessment framework – and as motivation to keep up our activities in the assessed areas. In view of this, we continue to develop our water technologies and solutions, among other aspects.

People are at the heart of our employer communications. We promote a working environment in which diversity and individual differences are taken into account, because we believe that different perspectives can contribute to successful collaboration. We believe that our goals can be positively influenced by different lifestyles, backgrounds and characteristics.

The Top Employers Institute certifies employers based on defined HR criteria. According to the institute, this recognition is based on its research findings and is awarded to companies that meet defined HR requirements. Wilo’s HR departments were audited through the institute’s multi-stage certification process as part of the “Top Employer 2025” certification. This audit covers areas including the working environment, employer branding, performance, learning, values and sustainability.

The Wilo Group was recognised by the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB) as an ‘Elite Sports-Friendly Company’ in 2023. We support selected elite athletes through career development programmes during their active sporting years. Together with the Wilo-Foundation, we promote the connection between athletic excellence and professional growth.

For over a decade, Wilo has supported rowing – as main sponsor of the German national rowing eight and supporter of the U23 youth programme in Dortmund. Many athletes, including Olympic champion Richard Schmidt, take advantage of dual career opportunities at Wilo. The DOSB particularly praised our long-term collaboration and flexible training and study options. Passion, performance and team spirit bring together sporting success and entrepreneurial strength at Wilo.

The Wilo Group received the Corporate Health Award in the ‘Mechanical engineering – Large company or group’ category in 2024. This award assesses companies according to defined criteria relating to workplace health management and encourages us to continue developing programmes for health, wellbeing and occupational health and safety.

We offer preventative measures, health programmes and support services for physical and mental health. Our aim is to address health risks early on and to embed health more firmly into everyday working life through preventative measures, such as a health budget of €600 per year for every employee.

The Health Cube at the Wilo Group’s Dortmund headquarters marks yet another milestone in our corporate health management. This health centre, which opened in 2026, combines services relating to prevention, exercise and health promotion, and is intended to serve as an in-house centre of expertise. This service benefits our staff at the Dortmund site as well as all our staff worldwide through remote medicine.

Since 2016, the German Design Council has presented the prestigious German Brand Award – one of Germany’s most important honours for outstanding brand management and communication. The Wilo Group has continually been among the winners since the award’s inception.

The Wilo Group impresses the expert jury year after year with a range of projects in the areas of communication, brand and marketing. Award-winning projects have included various Wilo Annual Reports, the factory tour concept (2023), workwear (2021), the Wilo Networking Cube (2025) and the new group strategy ‘Pioneering WATER AI for You’ (2026).

Wilo was presented with the SDG Innovation Award 2024 for the develoPPP project. The project was carried out in Mongolia in collaboration with the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. We view this award as recognition of our work on technology-based solutions with a focus on sustainability. This recognition encourages us to continue developing such approaches.

The award honours colleagues who turn ideas into tangible innovations – whether through new technologies, process improvements or creative solutions in their day-to-day work. The Wilo Innovation Award encapsulates the international culture of innovation within the Wilo Group.

Employees from all of the Wilo regions worldwide can nominate their projects for this special internal competition. Submissions are evaluated based on originality, added value and improvement over existing solutions. The final selection of winners is made by the Wilo Executive Board.
