Our success is reflected, among other things, in partnerships, customer feedback, employee engagement and continuous development. We are particularly proud that our commitment and values are also recognized beyond our industry.

In recent years, we have received multiple awards for our achievements in the areas of brand, sustainability, employer culture and social engagement. Among other recognitions, we have received the German Brand Award continuously from 2016 to 2025, and were honored with the German Sustainability Award in 2021 in the “Climate” transformation field and in 2026 in the “Hydraulics, Pumps, Compressors” category.

We are pleased to have received the German Sustainability Award twice – in 2021 in the “Climate” transformation field and in 2026 as the industry winner in “Hydraulics, Pumps, Compressors.” These recognitions encourage us to continue taking sustainability aspects into account and further developing them in selected business processes.

As a provider of water technology, we work on projects that support the transformation of our products and processes toward greater energy efficiency and resource conservation – including digital and AI-integrated applications. Receiving the DNP award again confirms to us that we are on the right track. It motivates us to further develop our activities in the areas of environmental protection, social engagement and corporate governance.

In 2026, we once again received the EcoVadis Platinum Rating for another year. This means that Wilo has achieved the rating agency’s highest level for the fourth consecutive year. According to EcoVadis, Wilo achieved the “Outstanding” level. Following Silver awards in 2019 and 2020 and Gold in 2021, our rating continued to develop in the subsequent years. The EcoVadis assessment takes into account topics including the environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.

The EcoVadis Platinum Rating assesses our performance based on the sustainability criteria applied by EcoVadis. For us, the award recognizes the results achieved within this assessment framework and motivates us to further develop our activities in the areas evaluated. Among other things, we are working on the continued development of our water technologies and solutions.

People are at the heart of our employer communications. We promote a working environment in which diversity and individual differences are taken into account, because we believe that different perspectives can contribute to successful collaboration. We believe that our goals can be positively influenced by different lifestyles, backgrounds and characteristics.

The Top Employers Institute certifies employers based on defined HR criteria. According to the institute, this recognition is based on its research findings and is awarded to companies that meet defined HR requirements. Wilo’s HR departments were audited through the institute’s multi-stage certification process as part of the “Top Employer 2025” certification. This audit covers areas including the working environment, employer branding, performance, learning, values and sustainability.

The Wilo Group was recognized by the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB) as a “Sports-Friendly Employer 2023.” We support selected elite athletes with professional development opportunities during their active careers. Together with the Wilo-Foundation, we are committed to combining sporting excellence with professional development.

For more than a decade, Wilo has supported rowing – including as the main sponsor of Team Deutschland-Achter and as a supporter of U23 development in Dortmund. Numerous athletes, including Olympic champion Richard Schmidt, make use of opportunities for a dual career at Wilo. The DOSB particularly recognized our long-term collaboration and flexible training and study opportunities. For Wilo, passion, performance and team spirit connect sporting success with entrepreneurial strength.

In 2024, the Wilo Group received the Corporate Health Award in the “Large Company/Group – Mechanical Engineering” category. This award evaluates companies based on defined criteria for workplace health management and encourages us to further develop programs for health, well-being, occupational safety and health protection.

We offer preventive measures, health programs and support services for physical and mental health. Our goal is to address health risks at an early stage through preventive services such as an annual health budget of €600 per employee and to further integrate health into everyday working life.

Another milestone in our corporate health management is the Health Cube at Wilo Group headquarters in Dortmund. The health center, which opened in 2026, brings together services focused on prevention, exercise and health promotion and is intended to serve as an internal center of expertise. Employees at the Dortmund site benefit from this offering, while telemedicine services also make it available to employees worldwide.

Since 2016, the German Design Council has presented the prestigious German Brand Award – one of the most significant awards for brand management and brand communication in Germany. Since the award was first presented, the Wilo Group has consistently been among the award recipients.

With a wide range of projects in the areas of communication, brand and marketing, the Wilo Group impresses the expert jury year after year. Recognized projects have included various Wilo annual reports, the Factory Tour concept in 2023, workwear in 2021, the Wilo Networking Cube in 2025, and the new Group Strategy “Pioneering WATER AI for You” in 2026.

Wilo received the SDG Innovation Award 2024 for the develoPPP project. The project was implemented in Mongolia in cooperation with the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). (Press release link) For us, the award recognizes our work on technology solutions with a sustainability focus and motivates us to further develop corresponding approaches.

The Wilo Innovation Award is an annual company-wide competition that recognizes the most innovative ideas developed by Wilo employees. For more than ten years, the award has honored people within the Wilo Group who use creativity, courage and commitment to pursue new approaches and actively contribute to the further development of our company.

The award honors colleagues who turn ideas into tangible innovations, whether through new technologies, process improvements or creative solutions for everyday work. The Wilo Innovation Award represents the international culture of innovation within the Wilo Group.

Employees from all regions of the Wilo world can nominate their projects for this special internal competition. Entries are evaluated based on criteria such as originality, added value and comparison with existing solutions. The Wilo Executive Board makes the final decision on the winners.

With the Wilo Innovation Award, we create a platform for making ingenuity visible, sharing inspiration and working together to further develop Wilo.

As part of the international “Join the Ecolution” campaign, the Wilo Group presented the Wilo Ecolution Award for the first time in 2024. The award recognizes outstanding projects in the water sector that are evaluated according to defined criteria relating to efficiency, operational reliability and environmental aspects.

At the official award ceremony in 2024 at the Networking Cube at Wilopark in Dortmund, four winning projects from Switzerland, China, India and the United Kingdom were honored. The projects demonstrate different approaches to managing water resources.
