In Germany
For data protection reasons, we only accept applications via our online portal. If you are under 16, we require the consent of your parent or guardian. In addition, we offer you the opportunity to have your application added to our candidate pool. This allows us to contact you again should a suitable vacancy arise at a later date. To this end, please give your consent to be included in our talent pool during the application process.
International
For job vacancies outside Germany, please visit the web pages of our subsidiaries and countries. You can find international vacancies advertised by WILO SE on our online portal, as described above.
Which documents should I include with my application?
The documents you should include with your application can vary considerably depending on the country, industry standards and the specific role:
For some positions, a CV is sufficient, while others require more detailed supporting documents such as diplomas, certificates or letters of recommendation. Always follow the instructions in the relevant job advertisement and the local requirements. Please ensure that all documents are clear and well organised in order to present a professional application.
The total size of uploaded files may not exceed 5120 kB. Where possible, please upload your files as PDFs. It is particularly important to us to get to know you as a person and gain an authentic impression of you during the interview. Show us who you really are – openness and authenticity are at the heart of what we do. Take some time beforehand to think about your personal strengths, your aspirations and expectations, and your motivation for the role you are applying for with us. What contractual conditions can you expect at Wilo?

At Wilo, you can expect a range of contractual conditions, which vary depending on your role and location. We generally distinguish between staff covered by collective agreements and those not covered by collective agreements. The relevant collective agreement provisions apply to the respective categories of employees at the Dortmund site, while the in-house collective agreement provisions apply at the Hof site. What working time arrangements does Wilo offer?

We offer a wide range of working time arrangements, tailored to the specific role and the individual needs of our employees. As well as full-time roles, we also offer various part-time arrangements, depending on the role and what is operationally feasible. In the office-based roles, flexitime arrangements are available, depending on the role and applicable regulations. In the production environment, there are various shift patterns tailored to specific requirements.

Apprenticeships, work-study programmes and internships
Do I need to meet any specific requirements?
Is there a minimum duration for an internship or working student position?

In order for you to gain a comprehensive insight into the processes at Wilo, you should plan for an internship period of at least three to six months. For a working student position, we welcome longer-term support of approximately one to two years.

When can I expect to hear back?
In Germany
You will be given confirmation of receipt shortly after applying to inform you that we have received your documents. You will receive the invitation to the recruitment test around the time of the autumn school holidays.

What form does the selection process take?
In Germany
After reviewing your application documents, we make a pre-selection of suitable candidates. We then invite these candidates to an interview with training instructors or the Head of Training. We have also scheduled a recruitment test for you. At some sites, there is also an apprentice assessment centre. This helps us assess, through practical exercises, whether you are a good fit for our company.
