The Wilo Group is managed by a global management team that oversees the strategic direction and long-term development of the multinational water technology group. Together with around 9,000 employees worldwide, the management team works to implement Wilo’s strategic priorities and support the company’s long-term development.
Since fiscal year 2025, Wilo’s business activities have been organised and managed across three main regions – Europe, the Americas and AMEA – as well as the Strategic Business Unit Wilo Water Treatment. In particular, the regions and Wilo Water Treatment operate as strategically responsible business units with decentralised responsibility for operational management decisions.
Responsibility for implementing business activities in the individual regions lies with the respective national companies. Their activities are coordinated and managed by the regional executive teams, which comprise experienced managers who report directly to the Global Executive Board of WILO SE.
Represented by its three-member Global Executive Board, WILO SE performs key management and coordination functions for the Wilo Group. These include strategy development and implementation, governance, resource allocation, Group-wide coordination of research and development activities, financial management and performance management. The Global Executive Board is supported by the Group’s global functions.
The Supervisory Board of WILO SE appoints, advises and supervises the Global Executive Board.
Global Executive Board
The Global Executive Board of the Wilo Group comprises three members who are responsible for the Group’s strategic and operational management within their respective areas of responsibility. Oliver Hermes, President & Global CEO of the Wilo Group, has been a member of the Executive Board and CEO since 2006. Together with Global CFO Dr Patrick Niehr and Global CTO Georg Weber, he manages the Wilo Group from its global headquarters in Dortmund.
Supervisory Board
The Supervisory Board of WILO SE appoints and supervises the company’s Global Executive Board. It consists of six regular members and honorary chairman Dr Jochen Opländer. The members are appointed by the Annual General Meeting. Two of the six regular members represent the employees and are appointed following a proposal by the European Works Council of WILO SE.
